About the Hotel
Our reception is open daily from 06.30 am - 10.00 pm.
For arrivals outside reception hours, please inform us in a good time.
You can cancel your hotel room free of charge unitl 06.00 pm on the day of arrival. After 06.00 pm on the day of arrival we will charge you 100% of the room price. For group reservations and booked conferences, please consult our general terms and conditions for the cancellation conditions.

Conferencerooms
The intermediate cleaning of your room takes place every 2nd night. We have defined this standard for our hotel in order to conserve resources and operate more sustainably. If you would like your room cleaned daily, this is of course possible - our reception team will be happy to fulfil your request.

Internet use in the entire monastery complex is free of charge for hotel guests! Our open Wi Fi network (WLAN-Holzen) is available in all hotel rooms and conference rooms, in the breakfast and bar, as well as in the monastery restaurant.

Enjoyment
We serve the Holzen breakfast buffet in the main building Hildegard from Monday to Saturday from 6.30 am - 10.00 am and on Sundays and public holidays from 07.30 am - 11.00 am. The breakfast buffet is included in the room price.
Whether you are stopping by during a cycling or hiking tour or meeting up with friends, our self-service bavarian beer garden is available to you in good weather. Our younger guests can look forward to a special children’s menu and a box full of games suitable for all ages.
Whether you are joining us for lunch, dinner, or a light bite on our idyllic terrace, good food and warm hospitality have always been part of everyday life at Kloster Holzen. Our younger guests can look forward to a special children’s menu and colouring pictures.
Hotel bar „von Treuberg", MO-FR open from 8:30 pm until 1 am (except public holidays and bavarian schoolbreaks).
Our service team will be happy to provide you with information about the ingredients. On request, our kitchen team will also prepare special dishes according to your individual wishes: be it lactose-free, fructose-free or gluten-free. Please let us know your requirements in good time before your arrival.
Our Klostergasthof offers several rooms for celebrations.
Service
We are not an explicit family hotel - nevertheless, families with children can feel at home in Holzen. We are happy to provide cribs and highchairs. However, for a carefree family holiday in Holzen, we ask you to bring your own additional equipment for your children. Lots of unspoilt nature can be discovered on family excursions around the monastery.
Dogs are welcome at any time (€ 15 per day). As a rule, we accept one dog per room - we ask for your understanding. Please keep dogs on a leash throughout the hotel grounds. There is a Robby Dog waste bin in our large car park. Dogs are allowed in the hotel. However, out of consideration for our other guests, we ask you to leave your dog in your room during breakfast at Haus Hildegard.
You are welcome to leave your valuables in the safe at the reception.
A cigarette machine is located in the outdoor area of the beer garden.
On request, we can bring an iron and ironing board to your room free of charge.
A good night's sleep in abundance. To ensure that you really are perfectly bedded, we will be happy to bring your favourite pillow to your room. Choose your favourite pillow: Neck-shoulder support pillow with 2-chamber system or neck spine support pillow made of viscoelastic foam.
Neeldes, sewing thread and shoe shine sponges are available from reception if required.
The laundry service is chargeable and is charged per item of clothing. You will find a plastic laundry bag and a laundry list in your room, which you can use for this purpose. Please hand in you laundry at reception before 9 am. The cleaned laundry will be returned to you by 12 noon the following day.
From Monday to Friday from 8 am-3 pm we offer our in-house shuttle service (max. 6 people) to the railway station Nordendorf. This service is on request and free of charge. Please contact our reception for a concrete booking at least 24 hours in advance.
Additional bedding, towels, and pillows are available upon request at the reception.
Make your stay even more comfortable with our special bedding options: a pillow filled with Swiss stone pine shavings and a synthetic duvet containing hemp.
The set is available for €10 per night.
Hotel rooms with wooden floors or tiles are available upon request.
Umbrellas are available for you to use free of charge.
You can also purchase an umbrella for €8. A Kloster Holzen pocket umbrella is available for €18.
If you would like to be woken at a certain time, please let the reception know. You can also programme your wake-up call yourself. Proceed as follows:
- Pick up the receiver and press the "+", "4" and "6" buttons.
- Now enter the desired time as a 4-digit number. Example: 0905 für 09.05 am.
- A wake-up call sounds at the time entered, but nobody answers.
